i always thought 'Love Shack' was from the 80's.
 
NELZ: Actually you're right. "My Sharona" hit number one on August 25, 1979. But it remained very popular in the early 80s and was resurrected in the movie "Reality Bites", which perhaps is why I keep associating it with the 80s.

CVJ: Again, another case of a song stradling two decades. The album Cosmic Thing was released June 27, 1989. "Love Shack" and the other songs remained vastly popular in the early 90s.
 
EDWARD: Oh my gosh, yes! "The Sign" was everywhere! La Bousche's song wasn't that huge here, though.
